Question:
Why is the sky sometimes red at night and is it similiar to a blue sky during the day?

Replies:
No, the red sky you see at dusk is the result of dust and smoke particles in the air which absorb blue light but allow red light to pass through.. well, I guess in a way it's similar, since the blue sky you see during the day is the result of the water in the air absorbing RED light and allowing B BLUE light to pass through.
