Question:
Why do people lose adult teeth?

Replies:
In general, poor oral hygiene is the cause of adult tooth loss. In particular, gum disease exposes the base of teeth (where they are unprotected by enamel) to bacteria action, leading to destruction of the roots. Daily flossing is probably the best routine protection, so do it!
