Question:
Do you think the apes will rise to the level of human beings?

Replies:
Recent experiments with Koko, the gorilla who has been taught American Sign Language, indicate she has an IQ equivalent to a 3 or 4 year old human. It is unlikely that apes in the wild will evolve to our intelligence any time in the near future.
