Question:
A friend told me of a recent discovery. She said that somewhere in Asia a once thought mythical deer was actually found. The interesting thing about this deer is that it has gills! She said she saw this on one of the scientific TV stations on cable. Could this gilled deer actually exist?

Replies:
Someone is "pulling your leg" on this one. Mammals can not in any way produce and use gills. Probably an article in the National Enquirer or similar garbage.
