Question -  We live in Palatine, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago and
would like any information regarding wintering Bald Cypress seedlings
that are currently about 8 inches tall and are individually potted

Dear Connie,

Since bald cypress occurs naturally at the extreme S part of Illinois, you
can probably provide some winter protection to the seedlings as you would
to other less hard shrubs and trees.
