Question:
I would like to know how long it should take for the fruit to turn yellow and one can eat them. The bananas became so heavy they broke the tree. I cut off the stalk and now would like to know if they will ripen.

Replies:
Green bananas will ripen (turn yellow) even when off the stalk.
