I am writing a paper on stem cell research. What is a general definition of stem cell research? I know what it is, but I don't know how to summarize it.


Replies:
Stem cell research involves isolating stem cells from the blastula stage of embryonic development and determining what types of cells they can be induced to form and then seeing if they can be used to replace diseased or damaged cells in another individual.
