My Cat (1 Year Old) does not purr At 7 months I heard her purr once. Should i be concerned?

Hi Joan,

This is a good question for your veterinarian when you take your cat in for her next health examination and vaccinations.

Some cats just don't purr very loudly. Others may not be comfortable or may even be frightened when they are held or may have health problems. It is very specific to the individual and your vet will be able to give you answers for your pet.
