Question - Were bobcats considered an endangered species at one
time, if so, how have they recovered and what has been done to remedy that
problem, and what is the status the bobcat situation now?

Bobcats are listed as "state threatened" in Illinois. I believe they have
remained relatively common in some states and overall are not endangered,
but state populations may be listed as endangered or threatened in some
other states as well.
