Question:
I have a small red-tail boa that has not shed since I got her which was January this year. Is that normal. She eats well and has plenty of water and light.

Replies:
I am not a herpetologist, but generally snakes shed when their growth demands it. As long as the snake is eating well and is healthy I would not be too concerned. Some snakes shed more often than others.
