Question:
What mammals are venomous? I read also that they all live in Australlia is this true?

Replies:
Short tailed shrews (Blarina brevicauda) of eastern North America, subdue prey with venom. They are common but not often seen because of small size and secretive habits. As far as I know this is the only venomous mammal in North America.
