Lou Harnisch is a program director for the Division of Educational programs at Argonne National Laboratory.

For over 10 years, he has participated and sponsored a number of educational initiatives including the Educational Network Consortium (ENC) (of which he remains as the programs director), a number of NSF grant programs for staff development of math and science teachers, and a number of other programs involving teacher training. Lou is a former biology teacher and offers expertise in biology and computer operations.
